the perfect title

I was ten years old in 1973. I never really had much of a childhood, to much
information about people and the world around me. Watergate affected me very deeply.
I knew then that the system was absolutely broken. Unable to express or understand the world or trying to and being shot down wasn't easy but somehow I managed.
It's been evident to me for a long time that the institutions that society has relied on for identifying itself are false and based in ego and alienation.
The Law doesn't work, Religion is based in I'm right and you are wrong. Medicine
is based in writing prescriptions for diseases that don't exist, and doctors have no idea of side affects. Everything is neatly compartmentalized.
In the past people have looked toward an institution or personality to save itself.
Jesus can't save us, Mohammed can't save us, The government can't save us .
Obama can't save us the aliens aren't going to either.
Time to grow up. Painful isn't it. Seems our individual and our collective light
is all we have left.
The reason I named this blog the spiritual revolution is exactly what's going on right now, the collective has finally woken up. My small part was to enlighten via spiritual symbols, its beyond language it talks to the side of the brain that holds intuition. Not a moment to soon or to late.
The genius and radical idea is that there is no leader or hero. No one to take accountability for our mistakes or hold our anger for us no scapegoat.
It's up to us as a group to say this isn't working and we better figure something out.
It's about mutual responsibility as the world soul.
As an individual my job is self care, self respect and owning up to my defects as well as my gifts. A gift is worthless unless it is shared. I think we are opening up to the fact that in fact we are all brothers and sisters regardless of all the bullshit that all the dissolving institutions have been feeding us since Sumeria.
It's time for an investment in love.
